Womens's Playoffs 2019
Women's Playoffs will be held on 27.02.19, 19.20 hrs Chicks with Sticks vs Frozen Assets und st 20.30 hrs Finnladies vs Eishexen. the games for 1st an 3rd place will be held on 02.03.19 starting at 10.00 hrs. Venue will be on both days the German Embassy.

The Men's League Playoffs will be held on the 17th March, 2018. All playoffs will be played on the same day. The venue will be the German Embassy if the ice remains, if not, Kuzminki.

Pre-Season Party & Rules Seminar - 2nd Dec at the American Centre
We are hosting a Rules Seminar for all new players, followed by a Pre-Season Party! Everyone is welcome! Date: 2nd Dec, 7pm on. Location: American Centre at the American Embassy. Pre Season Practice
The German Embassy has confirmed that we can practice before the Season officially kicks off. This Saturday, from 10:30am on (on ice at 11am) the ice at the German Embassy will be available. Official games will start on 10th December! Get your practice in while you can! All teams must have their dues in before the games officially start. Don't forget that you have to have a Team List in at the German Embassy for your players to enter the Embassy. All players must also have a disclaimer submitted before being able to get on the ice..

Carnival Party 2015 !
Annual Broomball League CARNIVAL PARTY at Papas (Saturday Feb 14). It is the most fun party of the year. Please get your teams together to attend. Costumes are required! Get crazy with that as we are having fun prizes for them! 1000 ru per person includes tons of great food and your first 2 drinks (any!). Pay at the door, but Teri Lindeberg (tlindeberg@staffwell.com) needs the attendance numbers so Papas can make the correct amount of food. Last year we had 150 people attend in costume and it was a blast –great DJ and then 2 bands played through the night. Would each captain please promote this event to your teams and come in mass –the more the merrier –invite friends too! Please respond to Teri with your team numbers ASAP this week. For all those who want to play this coming winter, teams are now re-forming. If you have played before or have contacts with a team, then get hold of them and find out what they are up to. 2013 Pre-Season / Christmas Party
The Moscow Broomball League for the 2013 Season will host a Pre-Season / Christmas Party on 7th December, 2013, at the German Embassy. The theme is of course, Christmas. The cost will be 1000r per person, which will include one drink and food. Everyone is welcome to attend, but to order tickets you must contact either your or a team captain. The cut off for tickets is the 1st Dec. Before the Party starts there will be a Rules Seminar, starting at 6pm. This is for all new players and referees.

2013 Moscow Broomball Ball
The Broomball Ball is fast approaching!! The date for the event is: 6th April, 2013. This year it will be held at the Ukraine Hotel, and cost is 5000r per person. The Broomball Ball is the longest running annual formal event in Moscow, and definitely the Best! This is formal Black Tie event. ...that being said, the theme for this year is BURLESQUE !! To get tickets, please contact any team Captain. There are a limited number of seats, so do not wait till the last minute.

Hello! If anyone is interested in adding articles to our info section, all team captains and vice captains have the ability to do so. This could be anything from a beginner's guide to playing, tips for refs, a strategy guide (if you are generous enough to divulge these secrets!), to something about the history of the great sport.

just go to the information section link whilst logged in and you should see the option to add new page. Likewise Captains can also add social events such as special matches (e.g. the saunders davies or parties by going to that section.

Rules Seminar - 2nd Dec 2011, 8pm at German Emb
Rules Seminar 8pm, German Emb before the Pre Season Party. For new and experienced players, the League is putting on a Rules Seminar. This is a one hour brief on the game and the rules, but not only for playing, also for Refereeing. We need all new players to please attend. Players who need to understand how to referee and want to understand better how to play, please join. We will cover kit, and what it takes to play, the rules for playing and how to play safely on the ice, and most importantly, how to Referee. The better everyone understands how to play and how to referee, the better our games will be.

2011-12 Preseason Party Coming soon
The date is still being finalised but the pre-season booze-up *cough* I mean rules seminar will be late November/Early December.

In unrelated news there will be some updates to the site over the next month to make it ready for the new season. It may not be working all the time. Also I am updating the system for adding rounds of matches. If upcoming matches start appearing/disappearing - THEY ARE NOT REAL!

2011 winners - a double victory for the Finns!
After a close fought final, the Finn Lions beat the Devils 5-3 to become the 2011 men's champions!

The women's final, between the Finn Ladies and Eishexens resulted in the Finn ladies stomping their way to a 7-1 victory! In a tightly fought play-off the Frozen Assets took the bronze.
