Info pages needed!
Hello! If anyone is interested in adding articles to our info section, all team captains and vice captains have the ability to do so. This could be anything from a beginner's guide to playing, tips for refs, a strategy guide (if you are generous enough to divulge these secrets!), to something about the history of the great sport.

just go to the information section link whilst logged in and you should see the option to add new page. Likewise Captains can also add social events such as special matches (e.g. the saunders davies or parties by going to that section.

Rules Seminar - 2nd Dec 2011, 8pm at German Emb
Rules Seminar 8pm, German Emb before the Pre Season Party. For new and experienced players, the League is putting on a Rules Seminar. This is a one hour brief on the game and the rules, but not only for playing, also for Refereeing. We need all new players to please attend. Players who need to understand how to referee and want to understand better how to play, please join. We will cover kit, and what it takes to play, the rules for playing and how to play safely on the ice, and most importantly, how to Referee. The better everyone understands how to play and how to referee, the better our games will be.

Pre Season Party, 2nd Dec 2011 - German Emb. Christmas Theme
The Theme is CHRISTMAS!! Wear something red! Party Starts at 9pm.. Tickets are 800R at the door, 600R in advance till 30th Nov.. Contact Sara Redolfi (S_redolfi@web.de) from the Eishexen to arrange purchase of tickets. Names lists for the gate are required latest 1st Dec to the German Eagles (Thomas Paesch). Have your Captain submit the list at the Captain's Meeting on 30th Nov, along with monies collected. See you all there!!

2011-12 Preseason Party Coming soon
The date is still being finalised but the pre-season booze-up *cough* I mean rules seminar will be late November/Early December.

In unrelated news there will be some updates to the site over the next month to make it ready for the new season. It may not be working all the time. Also I am updating the system for adding rounds of matches. If upcoming matches start appearing/disappearing - THEY ARE NOT REAL!

2011 winners - a double victory for the Finns!
After a close fought final, the Finn Lions beat the Devils 5-3 to become the 2011 men's champions!

The women's final, between the Finn Ladies and Eishexens resulted in the Finn ladies stomping their way to a 7-1 victory! In a tightly fought play-off the Frozen Assets took the bronze.

Anyone can now add photos to the broomball website! Just log in and choose either the social event or match , where the photo was taken and add up to 8 photos for each match/event! Latest photos at bottom of this page
