Nearest Metro:  Universitet Metro. (red line south of centre of Moscow)

By Car, either (1) Come up from Kievsky Train Station, along the embankment, passing the turning for the third ring road (actually going under the third ring road bridge) and on up the rise that is the start of Sparrow Hills. At the lights at the top of the hill, keep right, going straight along Mosfilmovskaya. Follow this, passing several Embassies, until you get to the German Embassy, located on the right hand side of the street, just back with a feeder road in front. (2) Come from Universitet Metro, down Lomonosovsky Prospekt, passing the back of the University itself, all the way down to Mosfilmovskaya Ulitsa, just before which you need to go right onto the feeder so that you can then turn right onto Mosfilmovskaya Ul. Carry on along Mosfilmovskaya to the first light (the Swedish Embassy - three crowns on the side - is on the left side of the crossing, the German on the right - on a diagonal from you before you turn), where you need to cross left and take an immediate right this will bring you to the main and only entry.

By Metro: Go to Universitet metro, and exit from the platform to above ground. You will find yourself opposite the back end of the University (MGU) compound. Cross the road to the University side. You can now either grab a Mashrutni Taxi (mini-van bus), a Trolleybus, or a car that takes you to Mosfilmovskaya, and exit by the first light, opposite the Swedish Embassy. Then cross over the road to the Swedish Embassy, and cross over the side road, walking parallel to Mosfilmovskaya to the German Embassy compund.

The broomball courts are located on the right hand side of the compound, down the stairs to the right once you are inside. Changing rooms are located on the right down the stairs opposite the entry to the courts.

Nearest Metro(s):  Polyanka Metro (grey line) and Borovitskaya Metro (grey line attached to Biblioteka Imina Lenina (red line).

By Car,  (1) if coming from Novy Arbat, go down past the Kremlin and over the Large (Bolshaya) Kamenni Bridge, take a sharp turn immediately at the end of the bridge, turning back towards the embankment, and turn right back under the bridge still on the embankment onto Sofisskaya Nab..

By Metro: If coming from Borovitskaya Metro, walk over the bridge across the Moscow River, and at the end of the Bridge, go round the corner to the perekhod (walking underpass) and cross under the bridge. Once out from the underpass, cross the side road that leads to the embankment and follow round to the right onto Sofisskaya Nab..

The British Embassy Residence is located about 100m down on the right hand side of the embankment, (Big Union Jack flag flying most of the time) facing the Kremlin. This is the only entry to the Residence. The broomball court is at the back of the compound. Go past the main buildings and all the way back. Changing rooms will be on the right of the court.
